Math Word problems

:WALT Solve our own maths word problems by using division

For this week we have been solving  our own maths word problems by using division and it was actually pretty fun and kinda easy I just kinda mucked around.

My favourite part was solving the word problems.

My least favourite part was not getting as much work done as.

The luck of money

 WALT:write a quick little story

                                       The luck of money

While walking across an open grassy field I became excited as my hand swooped toward the ground like an eagle attacking its prey. I picked up half of a $5 bill. I continued to walk around looking for the other half but thought to myself it would be impossible to find it on such a windy day. As I lifted my head I spotted the other half of the bill tangled in crabgrass. Somehow finding two halves of a ripped $5 bill felt better than working for a twenty. Since then when ever i walk past an open field full of grass I always check it in case there is money in side of the open fields YOU NEVER KNOW.I don´t know if its luck or something but a few day later I found more money it wasn't $5 it was $4 but its better than nothing and i wasn't split in half either. So i went to the shop that was nearby and brought me a drink and a choc bar.

                                                        THE END

Niko's maths word problems/week 7

WALT: Create our own word problems

In this week maths task room 5 class had to create our own maths word problem we made them all through the week. One per day then we publish them to our blog,we were supposed to do 5 but I did 4 because I didn't have enough time. The maths word problems that I was doing were a little bit hard and a little bit easy, but they could of been harder but I still enjoyed it.My favourite part on this task was working the maths problems out and doing my maths it was kinda fun even though I basically HATE maths.I probably would of got my 5 slides done if I wasn't mucking around with my mates.

Niue language week 2020

 WALT: Understand Niue language week

Fakaalofa Atu together, Tongan and Niuean from the tonic subgroup of the Polynesian languages. Niuean also has a number of influences from Samoan and Eastern Polynesian languages. I learned how to say hi in Niue. It is most closely related to Tongan and slightly more distantly to other Polynesians.
